Meetings in English

English used in meetings can be very different from everyday English and this workshop is designed to improve the participants’ skills, enabling them to have greater confidence when delivering their message in this more formal environment. The focus is on broadening & formalising vocabulary, developing and practising typical phrases and idioms used in English-speaking meetings, language surgeries focussing on the individuals’ particular problem areas and refining pronunciation and intonation.

Who is it for?

It is aimed at experienced communicators who would like to practise and upgrade their use of the English language, particularly in the field of formal meetings in English. Students will benefit from improved pronunciation, intonation and phraseology. In addition, they will be equipped with a number of techniques to ensure they can ‘hold their own’ with English native speakers.
