Negotiations in English

The skill of effective negotiation is something which many people find hard even in their mother tongue. But for those who have to start high-level negotiations in English, the prospect can be quite nerve wracking. This course looks at different negotiation styles and demonstrates how to build trust while explaining how to avoid ‘point scoring’. Designed to work with participants’ individual styles and strategies, the course demonstrates how the use of correct English can play a decisive role in the outcome of high-level negotiations.

Who is it for?

The workshop is aimed at non-native speakers who need to negotiate in English and will train them in different negotiation techniques and strategies, enhancing their skills and giving them the confidence to communicate more effectively when negotiating in English. Increasing knowledge of the actual language of negotiating, such as typical phrases, idiomatic expressions and vocabulary is emphasised during the workshop. On conclusion, the participants will have the relevant skills to negotiate more effectively in English. By using their enhanced skills, they will be in a stronger position to secure mutually beneficial deals for your company and its suppliers.
