Telephoning in English

Telephoning is often considered the ‘cold medium’ and one of the most difficult skills to master in a foreign language. Considering over 52% of the world’s telephone calls are in English, ensuring your employees are proficient and professional on the phone is a must.

The Branch Out Telephoning in English workshop focuses on those skills required to help participants manage telephone conversations with international clients more confidently and professionally. The programme covers aspects, such as cultural considerations, starting and ending a call politely and efficiently, checking and clarifying techniques, dealing with questions and questioning techniques and standard expressions for telephoning in English.

This hands-on programme allows for the all important practice through focused role-plays and workplace simulations.
