  Why stress management training?

Stress can affect everyone from the boardroom to the shop floor and is fast becoming a way of life, not only in the Netherlands, but throughout the world.

Changing market forces, increased competition and the introduction of new technologies are just a few of the contributing factors towards increased stress in the workplace.

The stress levels experienced by employees and managers alike, not only result in a decline in work performance and production, but also contribute towards individual and family crises.

Employers today are recognizing the importance of taking responsibility for the well being of their staff and many companies are introducing stress prevention measures at an early stage.  It is far more efficient and cost effective for a company to recognize and manage the affects of stress early on than to have to deal with the personal and financial consequences at a later date.

What are the benefits?

Applying effective stress management training within your organization can help to:

  1. lower stress-related absenteeism and long term sick leave in the workplace
  2. reduce stress-related costs and so help to increase your company’s profitability
  3. improve motivation, resulting in increased productivity
  4. reduce staff turn-over
  5. address a range of work performance issues
  6. introduce good practice in employee health and welfare
  7. increase staff morale, loyalty and commitment, providing employees with a healthier and more positive outlook at work
  8. improve levels of performance and efficiency
  9. increase individual confidence and self esteem
  10. provide employees with tools to improve their lifestyle and prevent health risks
